Land Conflict Resolution for Chilonga Village

The Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Climate, and Rural Resettlement issued statutory instrument (S.I) 50 2021, announcing the 12940 hectares Chilonga land is commercialized for national food security. 2021 also stated that villagers immediately pave way lucerne grass irrigation project. problem with this research Land has power to relocate people in all communal lands according constitution Zimbabwe Communal Act Chapter 20:04, but failed resettle villagers. This aims analyze causes conflict, Lands's capacity carry out resettlement, how government can intervene resolving conflict. Theories concepts used are; strategy theory, conflict tree concept, triangle security concept. employs a qualitative method involving nine informants. results study show are poor strategic planning, communication, cultural beliefs, political influence, lack trust, compensation. lacking conduct resettlement. Finally, shows should provide adequate support resettlement program consider win-win resolution.
